Ballers Bulletin March 2026
Ballers Fam,
There’s nothing like Opening Day in Oakland. Full stop. And while we still have 54 days until our own celebration in The Town, we knew you’d have that familiar baseball itch around this time. Which is why we worked with the San Jose Giants to create Battle of the Bay 2.1.
Our team doesn’t even start Spring Training until Mid-May, but we’re not letting that stop us from giving you Opening Day vibes when you’ve grown accustomed to expecting them.
So this Monday, Oakland Ballers players from all around the country will assemble, meet at the team hotel, gear up and head to a showdown with the Giants on Tuesday night. Champion vs. Champion. PBL vs. California League.
And history is on the line.
The Bridge Trophy
To make this rivalry even more special we have secured The Tom Pellack Memorial Bridge Trophy from NBC Sports Bay Area. The same one that the A’s and Giants used to play for in their Bay Bridge Series. With help from our friends at The Crucible, we’ve outfitted it with new bling. The winner of the game in SJ gets The Bridge.
Don’t know the way to San Jose? The Oakland 68s have created party bus packages complete with tickets, food and drinks. Let’s take over their park. And if you can’t make it, the game will air on CBS locally.
Champions Are Forged In Oakland
Speaking of new bling… We had a chance to celebrate another Oakland champion recently. Scrappy The Rally Possum, Ballers Co-Founder Paul Freedman and VP of Communications & Fan Entertainment Casey Pratt — in no particular order — were on hand to present figure skating gold medalist Alysa Liu with an Oakland Ballers Satin Jacket and a Community Championship Ring.
And if you’re looking at that photo wondering where your ring is… don’t fret. Investor Championship Rings and Community Championship Rings are shipping soon. They should arrive in April with plenty of time to rock them at Ballers Opening Day on May 19th.

However you show up, it all leads to the same thing: joining a packed park for Oakland baseball all season long.
Step up your next Corporate Offsite
Trade the stale conference room for something your team will actually be excited about. Bring your next offsite to Raimondi Park and step into a custom-built experience that blends real focus with real fun, the kind of day your crew won’t just attend, they’ll remember.
Start in The Boardroom to lock in the plan, then take it to the field. A Ballers coach will lead your group through high-energy, accessible drills and batting practice that bring everyone together. Morning, afternoon, or evening—we’ll make it work.

Take The Field with the B’s
In case you missed it, our Little Leaguers in The Park program still has some openings. Grab them for your team while you still can.
At every Ballers home game, we feature one local Little League team at Raimondi Park for an unforgettable experience.
Your team will:
- Take the field with the Ballers and stay on the field with the players for the National Anthem
- Receive 15 tickets for players + a ticket promo code for friends and family
- Get in-game recognition on the videoboard
- Receive priority selection for in-game entertainment
- It’s a moment these kids will never forget. And it’s a huge part of our mission to continue sharing the joy of baseball with Oakland.

Introducing Ballers Forest
And speaking of growing Oakland’s future, we just planted Oakland’s first-ever Miyawaki Forest. Lovingly named Ballers Forest, this planting method is designed to grow faster, stronger, and more resilient by placing trees and plants close together so they compete, thrive, and regenerate naturally.
This isn’t just about sustainability.
It’s about community, fresh air, and partnership. We worked with Sidewalk Trees & Gardens, PG&E, McGuire and Hester and Groundworks Office to plant the forest in one day!
It’s located just behind the bullpens beyond right field and we’ll get to watch it grow right alongside our franchise.
If you’ve read this far, we like to sneak in a secret snippet of news. So let’s just say the game on Tuesday 3/31 at 6:30 p.m. in San Jose won’t be the only game we play against a team named the “Giants” this preseason.
More announcements coming soon. We’ll see you in SJ, where we’ll be taking the field a whole month and a half before our Opening Day. Simply because we miss you. Let’s pack their park and take it over. There will be free posters and lots of hugs.
We’ll see you soon,
Your Baller Family
